Spotlight on: Marah Curran

MARAH CURRAN
On our website we introduce young short film makers to you on a regular basis. We call this column “Spotlight on:” and this is the second film maker we want to recommend warmly to you.
Born in the suburbs of Dublin city, Ireland, Marah Curran has just finished her Animation degree in the Institute of Art, Design and Technology in Dun Laoghaire. Her main interests lie in stop motion and flash animation, however; she secretly hopes to pursue a career as a short film director.
Although she has directed a few films throughout her college years, THE HOUSE THAT JACK BUILT is her official debut animation short and was seven months in production.
