Festival cinema

Fulminantly, britspotting started yesterday at the Babylon. The evening started with Twinings tea in the foyer and allocutions by Andrew Noble, consul of the British Embassy, and by the festival direction before our opening film IN THE LOOP was shown.

The sharp satire raised laughter in the audience and is possibly a favourite for the audience
award. The evening continued with delicious cupcakes, Bionade and Merrydown Cider – and whilst one was engaged in animated conversations, some drag queens mingled in the crowd spreading good vibes.
